Hexagon Synthesis Activity

AVID 11

Things on the to-do list:

1. Watch Module 8 video
2. Turn in screenshots for last week's assignments.
3. Fill out TRF for tomorrow's tutorial. It can be on any topic you want.
4. Putting your sources in conversation with each other.
1. Write 3-5 main points for each of your sources on your hexagon.
2. Cut out your hexagons.
3. Place two sources next to each other
1. Choose the synthesis word
2. Write the overlapping idea.
3. Create a synthesis sentence.
4. Do these same steps two more times with two different combinations of sources.
5. If you finish early, start working on your essay outline.

1. Work on your outline a little each day.

2. Essay 2 Outline due by Sunday 10/4 at 11:59PM.
