Revision Discussion and Multi-modal texts

  1. Writing reflection discussion.
    1. What is the difference between revision groups online and in person? Explain how either online or in-person helped you make improvements. Or maybe a combination of both helped.
    2. How do you feel when people tell you positive things about your writing? How do you feel when people give you things to improve on? Overall, is receiving feedback enjoyable or frustrating?
    3. At this moment, what career do you plan on working toward in college? Revision requires collaboration on evaluating a product, feedback from a group on how to make it better, and making changes.
      1. How important is working together to evaluate or test how good something is?
      2. Why would it be important in your field to receive feedback from others and not rely only on your own evaluation?
      3. How important is it to make changes based on feedback in your field?
    4. If revision is simply evaluating how well you are doing and making improvements, how important is this in friendship, sports, art, parenting, virtue, etc.?
